Karl Denninger has taken a break from hawking his daughter’s so-so art to post an epic Covid rant that breaks down the voodoo from multiple angles. I’m not going to say “read the whole thing” because a little bit of Denninger goes a long way, but I do want to circle back on a few points that he brings up.
First, the fact that 25% of Africa has not died from Covid, or really, any quantifiable number at all. This is a land that features mobs hunting for witchdoctors accused of casting penis-stealing spells, and yet their management of Covid has been more well reasoned than all of the Western World apart from Sweden and South Dakota. Just…let that sink in for a sec: our elites cannot even out-think an illiterate bushman (“no common man could be such a fool” as they say I guess).
Which brings me to my second point: the left sure likes to complain about the costs and corruption of our medical system, but they prove their (neverending) hypocrisy in favoring monied interests over their supposed ideology. There is a (much) less expensive and more effective treatment regimen for Covid, and yet they dump on that, maybe because Trump mentioned it once, but more likely because the money-men they front for would rather get one more big squeeze out of the BigMed money sponge.
Denninger’s witchcraft angle does circle back to my final point: the lack of religious belief doesn’t mean people believe in nothing; it means they will believe anything. Faith needs an outlet, and the communist left’s destruction of our religious institutions has accomplished exactly what they intended in that people have placed their faith into corrupt pedos who occasionally humor them with a belly rub.
